Data Protection Declaration of EQAR
The European Quality Association for Recycling e. V. takes seriously the protection of your data in collecting, processing and using them on the occasion of your visiting our homepage. Your personal data are protected in the framework of the legal provisions. Hereinafter we inform you which data we collect during your visit of our homepage, where we collect them and what we do with these data. In addition, we inform you on your rights relating to data protection issues and whom you can contact in this matter.
www.eqar.de is an offer by EQAR and contains tele media within the meaning of Section 1, para. 1 of the Telemedia Act.
During each access of a user to a website of EQAR and each call of a data file data of the inquiring computer are stored in a log file. This storing serves exclusively internal system-related and statistical purposes.
Processing of personal data
When you visit the homepage of EQAR the web sever stores normally temporarily the connection data of the inquiring computer incl. IP address, websites which you visit, if necessary, the names of the downloaded data, date/time and duration of your visit, the identification data of the type of the browser and operational system used and the website from which you visit us. We use your data made available thereby exclusively for the purpose of the technical administration of the websites and for using offered tele media. This is our justified interest (Section 6, para. 1f GDPR). The server log data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required.
Personal data such as your name, your address, phone number or e-mail address going beyond this are not collected, unless you submit these data voluntarily, e.g. in the framework of a registration, information inquiry through the contact form, an order or registration for the newsletter (“purpose” s. below). We use the data voluntarily submitted by you exclusively for the purpose you transferred them to us. You may contradict the use at any time – with effect for the future. The personal data are not transferred to third persons, unless this will be required for fulfilling your request.
Cookies
To provide you maximum operating comfort EQAR uses cookies on its web sites to collect user data through you while you visit our web sites: cookies are small text files allowing the recognition but not the personal identification of your person. The user data are collected anonymously so that conclusions as to you as user are not possible; personal data are not collected according to Section 4, no. 1 GDPR. Storing is made only temporarily until an anonymous evaluation will have been made. Thereupon these data are permanently deleted. The data collection and storing may be contradicted at any time with effect for the future.
Contact form
We collect your data (name, company/departm., address, contact data) to answer your contact inquiry. Data processing is based on Section 6, para. 1f GDPR). Our justified interest is to answer your inquiry. Your personal data are not transferred to third persons, unless that this will be required for answering your inquiry. Your data are neither transferred from the contact form to our address database. The data are deleted as soon as they will be no longer required for the purpose of their processing. You have the right to contradict at any time the use of your data for the purpose of taking up contacts.
Registration for the circular
We collect your data (name, company, contact data) for the purpose of sending you the desired technical information (circular). Data processing is based on your agreement concluded with us (Section 6, para. 1b GDPR). The data are not transferred to third persons. The data are deleted as soon as they will be no longer required for the purpose of their processing. At any time, you have the right to contradict the use of your data for sending you a newsletter or circular.
Safety
We apply technical and organizational safety measures to protect your personal data stored by us against unintended or illegal destruction, loss or alteration and against an unauthorized disclosure or access. Our safety standards are regularly adapted to the technological progress. Our staff is obliged to maintain confidentiality.
Your rights
In conformity with the General Data Protection Regulation you have various rights. Details result in particular from Sections 15-18 and 21 GDPR.
· Right to information
You are authorized to request information on your personal data stored by us.
· Right to correction
If the data referring to you will (no longer) be correct you may request a correction.
· Right to contradiction
You have the right to contradict at any time the processing of the data concerning you. However, we shall not be able to comply with this if a legal provision obliges us to process them (e.g. legal obligations to store them). If you have given us an explicit consent to process your data you have at any time the right to withdraw it - with the effect for the future.
· Right to deletion
If storing of your data by us should be inadmissible (e.g. if you contradicted data processing) you may request the deletion of your personal data.
· Right to restriction of processing
You have the right to require a restriction of processing the data concerning you.
· Right to lodge a complaint
If you are of the opinion that we did not or not fully comply with your request you may lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
